Guess what? It’s January. Not only is it time to work on those New Year’s Resolutions and get your taxes in order but it’s also time to change the copyright date on your blog. Below I show you how to change the copyright date in Libsyn.
I will also show you how to use the © symbol (see the end of this post).
How to change the copyright date in Libsyn:
Step 1: Log into Libsyn.com and click on settings
If you are using Libsyn 3 then click on the gears located in the upper left-hand corner
If you are using the new Libsyn 4 then click on the gears located under the Settings tab in the banner and select “Edit Show Settings”
Step 2: Change your copyright information
In Libsyn 3:
In Libsyn 4:
That’s it. Click save and you are done.
How to find the © on your keyboard
Actually, the © isn’t on a traditional keyboard. Here is how you can create the © symbol on your computer:
If you are using a Mac:
Option – G (yeah, that’s it)
Using a Windows machine:
If you have a numeric keyboard then hold down the ALT key while typing 0169
No numeric keyboard? You may need to get the owner’s manual out. Just kidding. To open up the Character Map Utility on a Windows machine select Programs » Accessories » System Tools » Character Map.
